Fertility-Boosting Ingredients
Oats are a high-fibre carb packed with zinc which is involved in the formation of eggs and sperm, follicle maturation, and ovulation, and may play a role in fertilisation and development of the embryo.
Kefir is a probiotic-rich fermented dairy product, that can help support a healthy gut microbiome, which in turn promotes reproductive health. Dairy products are a great source of calcium, a mineral essential for the development and maturation of follicles, as well as supporting implantation.
Chia seeds are another good source of calcium. Not only that but they are also a good plant-based source of omega-3 fatty acids, which improve blood flow to reproductive organs, increase sperm numbers, motility, and morphology in men, and improve egg quality, embryo morphology and implantation, and live births in women.
Cacao & dark chocolate are rich in minerals and antioxidants that contribute to good reproductive health, including sperm and egg health and a thick and healthy endometrial lining.
