About Me
I am a qualified health coach, with a level 5 diploma in Integrative Nutrition and Health Coaching from Active Health Group (AHG). The course I completed allows me to have a holistic approach to coaching, using a range of techniques on the topics of nutrition, stress management, exercise and mindset.
I’m a full member of the UK & International Health Coaching Association (UKIHCA). This tells you that I completed a recognised and approved course, and that I have valid insurance in place.
I have chosen to specialise in fertility coaching because of my own fertility journey and how I was able to give myself the best chances of conceiving by improving my reproductive health. My desire and aim is to help other women find the path to their healthiest selves. If you’re interested in finding out more about my story, click here.
What To Expect From My Coaching Services
Prior to the first session, I ask my clients to complete a comprehensive health questionnaire to establish a baseline and allow me to better understand their circumstances.
During the first session, we discuss where the client is currently on their journey, their greatest challenges, and what areas they feel they need to focus on. We’ll put together a personalised action plan, which will be broken down into weekly actions.
Sessions tend to look different each time, but the general principle is to review any progress made, discuss any barriers or challenges encountered, and decide on the next steps to take. The client will generally decide at the start of the session what they want to discuss. As the coach, I’m here to guide my clients and offer suggestions if they feel they need them. I may set some tasks to complete either during or between sessions. These are intended to get the client to reflect and can often bring about powerful insights.
I offer support via WhatsApp between sessions so that clients who need to discuss a particular matter or want to ask a question, can do so between sessions.
Areas of Support
I focus on four areas of support: Nutrition, Movement, Calm and Mindset.
Examples of topics we could discuss during fertility coaching sessions include:
- Eating more plant foods
- Eating less processed foods
- Incorporating foods that have been shown to benefit fertility
- Different methods to chart your cycles
- Ways to exercise to suit each client
- Motivation to move more
- Stress-relief techniques
- Self-advocacy during doctor appointments
- Visualisation
- Positive affirmations
- Clearing Limiting beliefs
- Journal prompts
- Gratitude practice
- Environmental toxins
This list is not exhaustive by any means. My goal is to provide a personalised plan that addresses each client’s needs and goals. By working together, we can navigate the challenges of infertility, improve overall health and well-being, and find the path to parenthood that’s right for each client.
